The Unity Film Festival is a youth media production career experience designed to expose students ages 7–17 to real opportunities in filmmaking, digital media, and content creation.

This is not a talent show. It's a structured, educational, hands-on pipeline event designed to build the next generation of creators.

In four hours, we introduce young people to the full production cycle—story, filming, sound, editing, and screening.

It's a platform.
It's a movement.

QUESTIONS?

Who can submit a film?
Any young creator ages 7–17. If you made something—a short film, a reel, a TikTok, an edit, a visual story—you can submit it.
Does it cost anything to submit?
No. Submissions are completely free. No fees. No barriers.
What formats do you accept?
We accept .mp4, .mov, and .avi files. Short films, reels, TikToks, edits, visual stories—if you created it, submit it.
Is there a theme?
Yes. This year's theme is "Identity Over Image." Tell the story only you can tell.
Does my parent/guardian need to attend?
Yes. All attendees ages 7–17 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
How will I know if my film is selected?
If your project is selected, we'll email you with your official screening time before the event.
What should I bring?
Bring yourself, your creativity, and anyone you want to celebrate with. We'll handle the rest.
